What a succesful day Green Cross Training had at Debenhams taking part in their “Learning at Work Week” which starts 16th – 22nd May, so it’s great to be ahead of schedule supporting them in supporting their staff. David Harrison our Training Manager along with our trainer Roy Scott delivered life saving skills to the Debenhams personnel who had signed up for the day which included basic life saving recovery position, CPR for adults and children, baby choking and adult and baby spinal injury. We also included a session on using an automated defibrillator (AED) which was very interactive with delegates having a go at using it to show how easy AED’s are to use following the instructions. The whole day was rounded off with a 45 minute question and answer session with the 30 personel from Debenhams headquarters. We also have 24 short films on the Green Cross Training website which have been specifically developed to enhance the training all our delegates have received and can be used as a quick refresher guide, but please note this does not replace a skills update course. It can make all the difference to someones life.
