Emergency First Aid at Work Course – 1 day

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a 1 day course that covers many emergencies that may occur in the workplace. Who is this course for?

First Aid at Work

The First Aid at Work course from Green Cross training is the highest achievable qualification for workplace First Aid. The course  syllabus meets the requirements of Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

It is a legal requirement for workplaces in the UK to ensure that they have First Aid cover and provision suitable for your workplace. In many cases employers would assess their requirements through a Health and Safety risk assessment. Those with medium, high risk or larger organisations are required to ensure that they have qualified First Aiders. A risk assessment would take into account, the work conducted, but also the profile of staff and visitors. These should be taken into account when choosing between the First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at work course, an example of this is that only the First Aid at Work course includes training for treating a heart attack and so if your risk assessment identified this you would ensure you First Aiders trained for this.
